A pair of antique polychrome marble obelisks from Florence, dating back to the second half of the 19th century.

The square base is made of red dispro marble, surrounded by black marble, with a center of flowered alabaster.

The shaft is slender and tapered, typical of the obelisk shape with a square cross-section, while the top ends in a simple, geometric pyramidal tip that accentuates the object's verticality.
