The top has a circular shape enriched in the center and on the edge by a floral motif inlay.
The central trunk has a finely carved carving and is supported by three cabriolet feet ending with leaf scrolls and curls.
The top is reclinable, hence the term "Sail" to take up less space or store it in a corner.
Historical notes: The term Victorian period refers to the reign of the great Queen Victoria, who governed England from 1837 to 1901: a period of great changes and better living conditions, these seventy years were also characterized by greater rigor in every aspect of life, including furnishings.
Thus was born the Victorian style, original and inimitable, which became the English style par excellence, distinctive of the new bourgeois class.
