A bronze sculpture of a soldier, signed on the base C. Anfrie with the inscription "Sur la breach" (On the Breach). Charles Anfrie, born in 1833, was a French sculptor active in Paris, who exhibited at the Salon between 1883 and 1895. His work includes both French military subjects and meticulously crafted medals. The patina and details are of very high quality. Very good condition. L/W/H: 10 x 7 x 24 cm. Weight: 1.450 kg.
