An elegant glass-fronted bookcase in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer, made in the late 19th century in the Louis XVI style.
The piece boasts beautiful classical architecture with fluted column uprights, inlaid brass stringing highlighting the lines, a straight molded cornice, and two glazed doors with solid panels in the lower section.
The interior, entirely in mahogany, is fitted with four adjustable shelves, ideal as a bookcase, display cabinet, or cabinet of curiosities.
Original key and lock in working order. A beautiful warm patina, original wavy glass, an elegant and high-quality piece. It cannot be disassembled.
