Pair Of Walnut Armchairs In The Louis XV Style – Napoleonic III Period

A beautiful pair of Louis XV-style walnut armchairs, dating from the second half of the 19th century, the Napoleon III period.

They feature elegant, curved and undulating backrests, sinuous armrests resting on curved consoles, and a scalloped waistband.

The set rests on legs that are curved at the front and slightly arched at the back. The front legs are fitted with their original metal and brass casters, a characteristic detail of 19th-century comfort chairs.

The armchairs are upholstered in a beautiful red embossed fabric with a raised pattern, covering the seats, backrests, and armrests.
The upholstery is accented with a traditional finish featuring upholstery tacks. The walnut has a beautiful antique patina.

A cohesive, comfortable, and decorative set, showing some signs of wear consistent with its age.
