Bronze Sculpture Of A Horse.

A very attractive bronze sculpture from the late 19th/early 20th century depicting a horse with its foreleg raised. The sculpture is very dynamic, with finely detailed execution evident in its every aspect. It retains its original marble base, measuring 36 cm by 15 cm deep. The piece is a good size overall, standing 29 cm tall. There is no signature on the base, and the entire piece has a lovely patina. Its pleasing proportions give it a striking presence, making it suitable for a chest of drawers top, for example.
