Antonio Bofill-Conill, known as Antoine Bofill (1875-1925), was a Spanish sculptor who worked in Paris, on rue Vercingétorix. Born in Barcelona, Bofill studied at the Academy of Fine Arts there. He exhibited small-scale figures and groups in Spain and France, which he had cast in bronze in France, Germany, and Austria. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1894 onwards. The sculpture boasts a beautiful antique patina, a lively and expressive subject, and meticulous treatment of volume and movement.
