"Chalice With Three Medallions And Its Paten - 19th Century "
From the Berger-Nesme workshop in Lyon, active from 1897 to 1910. The chalice is engraved with the date May 28, 1899. Three medallions on its polylobed base depict, in turn, Jesus, the Virgin and Child, and Joseph carrying the child. A small blue enameled cross is also present on the base.
The central olive is adorned with a Latin phrase: "I am the vine, you are the branches."
Chalice and paten are made of silver. Very good condition.
