Vermeil Bracelet With Pearls And Amethysts, Late 19th Century
This exquisite and sparkling articulated link bracelet features nine oval faceted amethysts in a graduated gradient, claw-set in a setting adorned with a twisted border and alternating with a small flower set with a tiny half-pearl.
A hidden ratchet clasp is integrated into one of the links. It also has a safety chain.
The amethysts are a beautifully coordinated pale purple. They are immaculate, with no abrasion to the facets.
The vermeil is pristine, with no noticeable wear.
The ratchet bears the mark 830, indicating its Norwegian origin between 1892 and 1920.
