Miniature Walnut Jewelry Box With Columns, Late 18th Century
A small, exquisite commode, forming a jewelry box, crafted from carved walnut with light wood stringing, decorated with fluted columns on the uprights, small floral motifs on the top, and tapered legs. It features a drawer in the front and an upper section that opens to reveal storage compartments. In the Louis XVI style, dating from the late 18th to early 19th centuries, this box is in good condition and of superb quality. We have its drawer key.
