Venetian Louis XV Console – 18th Century

Refined Venetian console in Louis XV style, dating from the 18th century, made of veneered wood according to the Venetian cabinetmaking tradition of the period.

The shaped top and serpentine apron are enhanced by a warm and elegant grain, while the curved legs with sinuous profiles fully reflect the rocaille taste typical of the Louis XV style.

The harmonious proportions and the quality of the craftsmanship testify to excellent period manufacture.

The console is original to the period. It should be noted that one leg has been restored; the restoration was carried out in a correct and non-invasive manner and does not compromise either the authenticity or the structural balance of the piece.

The piece is in very good overall condition, with patina and signs of age consistent with its period.

An object of great elegance and decorative value, ideal for entrance halls, salons, or period interiors, as well as for collectors of 18th-century Venetian furniture.
