An important and rare Lombard studded safe, made in the early 1800s.
The door is equipped with two secret mechanisms that allow the lock slots to be opened, a feature typical of the finest safes of that era. The main lock is operated by two keys.
The interior features a valuable secret compartment that opens with an additional key, concealing six small secret drawers inside—ideal for storing documents and valuables.
The lower section also features a compartment with an independent lock, complete with its own key.
This is a truly charming piece of great historical value, ideal for collectors of antique safes or as a prestigious piece of furniture.
The safe is in excellent overall condition, with normal signs of wear fully consistent with its age.
All locks have been serviced and are in working order!
