Antique 18th Century Iberian Cross In Yellow Gold And Emeralds
Large antique 18K yellow gold iberian cross (hallmark: owl), openwork, and entirely pavé-set with table-cut emeralds mounted on tinplate. 18th-century work, circa 1750, Spain (hallmark unidentifiable). The bail and ring between the two elements are later additions. Two emeralds have likely been replaced. Gross weight: 10.17 g. Height: 7.40 cm. Width: 4.30 cm. Condition: slight micro-scratches, dents, and oxidation on the gold parts, and abrasion of the stones, see photos.
