Rare semi-hinged opening bangle in 18K rose gold (hallmark: ram’s head and owl), adorned with two-layer nicolo agate intaglios depicting Bacchus on a rock with an amphora and a cup, two female profiles, and a Cupid.
Early 19th-century work, Neoclassical style, circa 1819–1838, attributed to Pierre Jacques Meurice, father-in-law of François-Désiré Froment-Meurice.
