"Pair Of Gilt And Patinated Bronze Salt Cellars, Red Marble Bases. 19th Century"
A lovely pair of antique salt cellars in patinated and gilt bronze. A charming pair of gilt bronze putti, seated with small cloths draped over their loins, their arms raised and outstretched to support scalloped bronze cups. The original cups, likely made of glass or crystal, are missing and have been replaced with light green marble spheres, which fit perfectly. A delightful and decorative set. Original red marble bases. Napoleon III period. France.
