Coat Of Arms Of The Canton In Stone, First Half Of The 15th Century, Este Family, Duchy Ferrara
Important cantonal coat of arms of the Este family on three angular sides, Este family (Este Duchy of Modena and Ferrara) - Pietra Serena material -
Originally from upper Lunigiana - 15th CENTURY period -
On one side there is clearly the Este coat of arms with the crowned eagle, with the writing "nobilitas estensis".
On the other side it has a coat of arms but very worn and not decipherable, probably still linked to the Este family, on the narrower side it is still very worn but the silhouette of an eagle can be glimpsed.
very important and historic discovery.
