A spelter mantel clock with a brown patina, made after models by Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse (1824-1887). It comprises a central clock featuring two draped putti supporting a clock globe, forming a dynamic yet harmonious sculptural composition. The finely executed circular brass and enamel dial is signed Jay, Passage Jouffroy, Paris, attesting to its quality Parisian production. The set is accompanied by two six-light candelabra, richly decorated with stylized foliage, supported by fluted shafts, each resting on two putti, echoing the central clock. The base bears the signature “Carrier,” confirming the direct inspiration of the work. Late 19th century. Dimensions: Height: 80 cm (clock) – 81 cm (candelabra)
