Clock set composed of 3 pieces, a clock and 2 urns, in bronze with a gold and silver patina, on a black and red marble base.

Inspired by neo-Greek, this set presents numerous references to mythology and the Greek world. The bust that sits on the clock represents the Greek hero Menelaus, with a richly decorated helmet, lion heads on the sides; The bust is signed Re. On Sauvage
The urns are decorated with lion heads, sphinxes and medallions with portraits of illustrious men. They are placed on the bases and had been mounted as lamps

The dial is signed "Dufay Valin Angers"
The movement is stamped "Japy Grande médaillon d'honneur Exposition 1855"

Good general condition: wear and tear on the patina, some chips on the marble; mechanic to be revised, not guarantee- sold as is
