Dating from the 19th century, this large bronze group depicts Orpheus wearing a laurel wreath and holding his harp. His body is turned slightly backward, his gaze directed toward Eurydice, who is elevated and standing on a cloud. Behind them, a square column with an Ionic capital supports a tall vase decorated with laurel leaves and featuring volute handles.
