Mounted on a painted wooden base, this door knocker consists of a hammer, a backplate, and its nail, secured by a screw-fitting system.
The hammer, made of wrought iron, depicts a snake, an emblematic motif of Spanish production, particularly popular from the 16th to the 18th century. The body of the animal is finely decorated with scales.The object is in very good condition; a slight surface rust is present.Dimensions:
