A Japanese six-panel paper screen depicting a garden of white and yellow chrysanthemums, with delicate touches of red, arranged along an elegant fence against a background of gold and silver leaf. The raised flowers, executed in gofun, stand out for their luminosity and painterly precision. The screen is framed with two elegant silk borders and completed by a lacquered wooden frame.

Condition: The screen is in good condition, with minor wear to the paper and some restored areas, one of which is visible in the lower corner of the sixth panel. There is also wear to the lacquered frame and restorations along the paper hinges. On the reverse, some cuts and holes are present.
