The cruets have a circular base and an ovoid body, repoussé and guilloché, decorated with a different chased design on each: – Wine cruet: vine leaves and bunches of grapes; – Water cruet: bouquets of rushes. Both pieces also feature a palm leaf corolla and an egg-and-dart frieze on both the base and the upper part of the body. The spout is flared with high, curved rims. The cruets have hinged lids with knobs matching the decoration. The applied handle is crook-shaped and adorned with acanthus leaves. The oval tray is bordered with a frieze of water leaves.
