Pewter dish from Besançon - Late 17th century. Small dish with a molded rim. Double hallmarked on the rim at the edge of the edge, partially effaced. The first hallmark, in a hammered oval, bears the initials "TR", Thomas Ravier, who became a master in 1657. The second hallmark appears to be the Besançon city hallmark. "P*T" on the front as an owner's mark. In perfect condition. Diameter 28.8 cm
