Rambervillers (Vosges) plate with a small house motif - Late 18th, Early 19th century. This high-fired plate features 86 gadroons (characteristic of the Rambervillers factory). The decoration depicts a tower accompanied by a house bearing a flag within a circular cartouche covered in cascading floral garlands (a typical motif of this factory). This plate has been reproduced in a reference book on this factory (see last photos). The plate has a large crack (see photo) and pronounced crazing. No chips or repairs. Diameter 22.5 cm
