Artist: Prothais Pidoux?
Aprey Bouillon Pot - 18th century
Prothais Pidoux period to be confirmed. Piece signed "Ap" in green enamel.
Small bouillon pot with a rim shaped like a bunch of grapes, as are the handles. Very delicate decoration of “fantastic or imaginary” birds on branches. Combed rim on the lid. Peripheral frieze on the base.
A piece of exceptional finesse.
In perfect condition. No restoration, no cracks, no chipping, just very slight superficial crazing in the enamel visible under oblique light.
Diameter 13.5 cm, overall height 11.5 cm
