"Antique Italian Openwork Woven Ceramic Attributed To G. Besio, Mondovì"
Decorative plate in white glazed ceramic, shaped in a floral form with a wavy rim composed of interlaced ceramic strands. The centre, also openwork, is surrounded by a ring adorned with small red and green flowers, hand‑painted. Four sections of the rim are embellished with green leaves and pink buds. This plate is attributed to Giuseppe Besio, active in Mondovì between 1867 and 1884, renowned for his openwork pieces.
Condition: very good overall condition, slight signs of wear to the glaze, with no cracks or visible restorations.
