Antique Wooden Carousel Figure, 1900-1920
Antique carousel camel, circa 1900-1920, attributed to Bernard Guyse or Charles Loof. This is not a piece from the 1950s or later, but rather from the early 20th century. A rather rare model. Original glass eyes. Original wrought iron handle and support plates. It is well preserved overall with a beautiful patina. Some wear and paint touch-ups consistent with age and use. (See photos, which also serve as part of the description.) Total dimensions: 105 cm long, 77 cm high, 23 cm wide. Shipped worldwide in a wooden crate with appropriate protection.
