Louis XV Style Folding Games Table, 19th Century
A Louis XV style games table with a drawer in the apron. When open, the top is covered with a fabric rug. Made of solid walnut and walnut veneer, it dates from the mid-19th century. The term "pochette" (folding drawer) refers to its opening mechanism. It measures 81 x 40 x 73 cm (L x W x H) , and 80 cm W when open and can also be used as a side table. In very good condition.
