Cylindrical earthenware mug with polychrome decoration of a deer in a wooded landscape. The raised-roofed lid with ribbed rim and ball thumb rest, as well as the base band and the openwork handle, are made of pewter. An engraved ownership mark, dated 1801, is on the lid.
Height: 27.2 cm.
Thuringia, late 18th or very early 19th century.
Very Good condition.
