"Still Life, Ghent School, 1929"
Belgian painter. Studied at the Ghent Academy under J. Delvin and G. Minne and in Antwerp under Is. Opsomer. Winner of the Prix de Rome in 1928. First exhibition in Ghent in 1929. Professor at the Antwerp Academy until 1946. Works in the Antwerp Museum. The painting has undergone some minor restoration. It has been cleaned and is unframed. The painting is dated 1929, just after the year of his Prix de Rome.
