Wooden box originating from the High Vosges Mountains - Folk art - 19th century. Rectangular box/casket, possibly for a wedding, lacemaker, or "catch-all," made of wood carved with geometric shapes. Rustic hinges made of wire. Closes with a single hook. Made of beech wood. Good condition, complete. Some woodworm holes (treated wood). Length 35 cm, width 20 cm, height 13.5 cm
