Artist: Théophile Vauchelet (1802-1873)
This work is most likely a design for a ceiling that was never executed or that has since been lost. From left to right: Painting, Music, Poetry, Architecture, Sculpture. Stencil mark on the reverse: Vallé et Bourniche, Rue de l'Arbre Sec N°3, Paris. This mark was used between 1825 and 1841.
