Exquisite Christofle Gallia Colbert coffee/tea set. This Christofle set dates from the 1940s. It is silver-plated with ebony handles. The set comprises five pieces: a coffee pot measuring 24.5 cm high, a teapot measuring 20.5 cm high, a sugar bowl measuring 15 cm high, a milk jug measuring 12 cm high, and an octagonal tray measuring 10.5 x 58 cm (including handles). All pieces are marked Christofle Gallia France on the reverse. Good condition, with wear consistent with age and use. Minor scratches and wear. No cracks, breaks, or repairs. (See photos.)
