Bronze Hand Mirror (20th Century) A finely chased, oval bronze hand mirror decorated with scrolls, foliage, and rocaille motifs. The lower part of the frame features a putto in relief. The upper part displays a prominent asymmetrical decoration typical of the rocaille style, with scrolls, shells, and vegetal elements. The mirror has an antique mercury glass with pitting and oxidation consistent with age. Late 19th - early 20th century. In the Louis XV style. Even wear to the patina and oxidation on the glass. On display at Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, 97 rue de Courcelles, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
