A coffee service comprising a coffee pot and a small jug for hot water or milk, in silver-plated metal, designed by Gio Ponti for Arthur Krupp. Gio Ponti was a renowned Milanese designer in the 1930s, celebrated for his minimalist and futuristic style. He collaborated with the silversmith Arthur Krupp on several series of objects intended for a wealthy Italian and international clientele. The design of this service is exceptionally pure and elegant, evident in the handle, spout, and hinges. It reveals a magnificent quality of design and craftsmanship. This service was originally intended for the Regina Palace in Stresa on the shores of Lake Maggiore, one of the most iconic palaces on the Italian lakes. The coffee pot and the jug are engraved with the Palace name. The service is in exceptional condition. Dimensions of the coffee pot: 12 cm high x 17 cm long x 9 cm in diameter. Dimensions of the jug: 5.5 cm high x 10.5 cm long x 6 cm in diameter.
