Octave Larrieu (1881-1965)
Octave Larrieu and his daughter Simone worked together in their ceramics workshop near Tarbes in the Pyrenees. They worked with stoneware and earthenware, the painted or relief decorations of which were applied according to Simone Larrieu's designs. A painter and pastel artist, Simone Larrieu was a member of the La Palette association and a ceramic decorator. She provided most of the decorations for the family workshop.
