Pair Of Patinated And Gilded Lead Angel Heads, Likely Fountain Elements, 18th Century
A pair of ornamental elements representing the heads of winged cherubs in lead. Beautiful patina, traces of gilding, with the underlying layer of gesso and lead in its natural state. One is missing a wing, the other a wingtip. There are perforations, traces of attachment to a larger decorative element, most likely a fountain. A very decorative set. 18th century.
