Embroidery depicting a bouquet of multicolored flowers: in the center, among others, a peony (?). Silk on fine cream-colored fabric; reverse in light blue brocade. Fragment of a scapular of the Virgin Mary, a shoulder garment worn by a religious order. It was worn with ribbons around the neck for protection. Period: 18th century.
