Crafted from a remarkable fragment of 19th-century embroidered silk velvet, this very large cushion showcases the elegance of antique decorative textiles.

The sumptuous embroidery, executed in silk threads in delicate shades of green, gold, cream, and powdery pink, features a design of stylized scrolls, foliage, and fruit of great finesse. The velvet, a deep ruby red with iridescent sheen, offers an incomparable luster and highlights the rich texture of the embroidery.

Each cushion has been handcrafted to preserve the full beauty of this antique fabric. The back is made of a solid-colored silk that harmoniously complements the front. A discreet zipper allows for easy removal of the filling—which is brand-new and made of sturdy white canvas—ensuring ample support and exceptional comfort.

With its spectacular dimensions, this cushion becomes a true decorative statement piece, equally elegant on a sofa, at the foot of a bed, or on a chaise longue. It instantly adds the refinement of a classic, contemporary, or eclectic interior.
