Characteristic Louis XIV features: a solid, rectilinear structure without curves; turned, dice-shaped legs with low stretchers, typical of the reign of Louis XIV; simple drawer fronts without elaborate moldings; side panels with molded bands; drawer-style organization with a closed central niche, very common during the reign of Louis XIV; entirely solid oak, robust joinery.
