"Pair Of Late 19th Century Pharmacy Jars"
Refined and unique pair of colorless, blown and cut glass apothecary jars. The jars feature a cylindrical body, a ringed base, and two lids. The distinctive feature of this pair is the two engravings on the front of the body, depicting the coat of arms of the English Crown, with the French motto "Hony soit qui mal y pense" (Shame on him who thinks evil) and "Dieu et mon droit" (God and my right), engraved within lions, unicorns, eagles, and distinctive plant motifs. This pair exudes great taste and refinement, capable of furnishing any space with a touch of class and antiquity. English manufacture, late 19th century.
