Elegant hand-knotted Oriental carpet from the famous Kashan factory, one of the most prestigious centres of Persian weaving. Renowned for centuries for their technical excellence and rich compositions, Kashan carpets are among the most sought-after by enthusiasts and collectors.
This model features a sumptuous, finely drawn floral design, organised around a majestic central medallion, set against a salmon-coloured field with warm tones. The borders, richly decorated with foliage and stylised flowers, frame the whole with great harmony, reflecting the remarkable precision of the workshop's work.
Knotted in fine, high-quality wool on a cotton weft, this carpet offers suppleness, density and excellent durability. Its subtle colour palette, combining reds, blues and touches of ivory, reveals all the elegance of Persian productions from the first half of the 20th century.
