A Consulate Secretary
A rare Consulate period secretary desk in mahogany veneer over oak. This refined piece of furniture opens with two doors in the lower section, revealing a large drop-front that opens to reveal six small drawers lined with silk and a larger one with a lock, surmounted by two more large drawers. It features very attractive original bronze mounts. It is sold as is, with two small chips on the sides and its original leather covering. The marble top is slightly stained. A chic piece for the discerning collector.
