Superb pair of bronze-cast iron harness holders bearing the name of Antoine Cartier d'Aure, the Grand Equerry, Count d'Aure. Beautifully decorated with horse busts framed by sheaves of wheat, all openwork. On the front are the initials A.C. in an oval medallion surmounted by the Count's coronet, surrounded by oak leaves and acorns, probably from the Ducel Foundries. Length: 28.5 cm Width: 20.5 cm
