Blown glass lacemaker's ball - 19th century The ball was filled with water and placed in front of a candle. The aim was to amplify the brightness. The worker worked opposite the candle. This ball was intended to be suspended from a gallows. It has a large diameter: 21 cm. Tightened neck allowing the installation of the suspension link. Good condition. No cracks/splits.
