"Porcelain Plate From Naples With Costumes From The Kingdom Of The Two Sicilies"
This porcelain plate depicts the costumes of the inhabitants of Chieti, part of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies at the time of Bourbon rule. The plate is enriched along the rim with a splendid gold-on-gold decoration. The type of plate traces the work to Neapolitan artists of the first half of the nineteenth century, such as Giovine.
