Antique Chinese Famille Verte Lettered Kangxi Scroll Porcelain China Vase

Chinese porcelain vase, richly decorated in the Famille Verte (Wucai) style, with scenes of scholars and floral decorations on a geometric background.

China Estimated period: 19th or earlier Technique: Polychrome enamels on white porcelain Decoration: Two figurative cartouches with Chinese figures in a landscape, red floral checkered background, neck and base decorated with lotus flowers and stylized petals. Kangxi scroll shape, Antique vase Long, cylindrical, straight neck.

Rounded but marked shoulder.

Body flared at the bottom, with an overall profile in the shape of a parchment scroll or staff handle. Kangxi Scroll shape. Generally associated with the Kangxi period (1661–1722, Qing dynasty).
