Limoges Porcelain Coffee Or Tea Service By P. Pastaud, Floral Decoration And Gold Trim

A lovely Limoges porcelain tea or coffee service. This set comprises a large teapot, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, 12 cups, and 12 saucers. All the pieces are decorated with pretty floral motifs on a white and cream background. They are also embellished with small gold rims. The handles, spouts, and finials are highlighted with fine gold. The decorator's signature, "Lamy," is present at the bottom of the decoration (see photo). This beautiful service comes from the Paul Pastaud workshops located at 14-16-18 rue Jules Noriac in Limoges; the maker's mark is visible on the bottom (see last photo).
