This unsigned sculpture, dating from the mid-20th century, has been converted into a lamp.
The electrical wiring has been completely redone, and a new lampshade has been fitted, the latter covered in a fabric printed with a design entitled "The Brook" by William Morris, an English textile designer of the late 19th century, associated with the British Arts and Crafts movement. This medieval-inspired design depicts does and stags drinking from a meandering stream in a wooded landscape.
