Art Deco Cup In Glass Paste Signed Muller Frères Lunéville, Wrought Iron Support
Very beautiful fruit bowl in glass paste signed Muller Frères in Lunéville, French art glassmakers of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. The bowl, with a mixture of purple and green colors on a white background with a marmoreal effect, rests on a hammered wrought iron support in a geometric shape, typical of the Art Deco period, with decorations of flower buds at the level of the handle and branches of hazelnut trees at the level of the basket, reminiscent of the Art Nouveau period. Note very rare and slight traces caused by the friction of the iron on the glass of the cup, barely visible when it is in place in its support. Dimensions of the cup alone: diameter 25 cm, height 7 cm; Support dimensions: maximum width 36 cm, height 27 cm. Total weight: 2120 grams
